Concerned with the protection of personal data, DBCR Law Firm has implemented the technical and organizational measures necessary to safeguard the personal data of the Site’s Users.

  • “User Data”: means the information concerning the User, including their Personal Data, provided to DBCR Law Firm directly or indirectly by that User. The User represents and warrants that they provide accurate and up-to-date information, in particular their identity and contact details.
  • “Personal Data”: as defined in Article 4 of the GDPR, any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person (the “Data Subject”).
  • “Applicable Regulations”: all rules applicable to the Users and the Site, including the GDPR and the French Data Protection Act (“Informatique et Libertés”).
  • “User” or “Client”: Any natural person accessing the Site, on their own behalf or on behalf of a third party, whether a mere visitor, client, or prospect.

III – PURPOSES OF PROCESSING

These data may be processed by the following processors :

WordPress, the platform used to manage the site, hosted on servers located within the European Union and compliant with GDPR requirements; Google, based in the United States, with which Standard Contractual Clauses have been agreed. The User consents to the aforementioned processors processing the data they submit.

In any event, DBCR Law Firm urges Users to limit the content of messages sent via insufficiently secure means to the strict minimum necessary, in order to protect professional secrecy and their personal data. Likewise, Users are responsible for the accuracy and substance of the information they themselves transmit.

WordPress provides the platform used to present our services. Your data may be stored there on secure servers.

Handling of Personal Data in the Event of Death

The User may set instructions with DBCR Law Firm regarding their data after their death.

Accuracy and Responsibility of the User

The User acknowledges the importance of providing accurate, up-to-date, and relevant data, and undertakes to correct it if necessary.

Non-Disclosure of Personal Data

DBCR Law Firm undertakes not to transfer data outside the EU without the Client’s prior information and consent, unless the destination country is deemed adequate or appropriate safeguards are in place.

The Firm ensures data security and will inform the Client in the event of any incident affecting their confidentiality or integrity.

Data are accessible only to authorized persons (administrative staff, customer service, etc.).

VI – MODIFICATIONS

This policy may be updated without prior notice. The most recent version is binding on all Users. It is recommended that you regularly consult the policy available online.

VII – GENERAL PROVISIONS

If any clause is found to be null and void (due to legislative changes or a court decision), the remaining clauses shall remain valid.

This policy shall be governed by French law.
